Ultralight Offroad Campers

About us

What do we do?

The Overland Command is filling a need for quality, rugged, ultralight, and affordable trailers to help people experience the outdoors in a comfortable and economic way. Using the best materials and designs available in the RV industry, we offer the ultimate outdoor experience. We offer many features and options, and we will build your trailer to your exact specifications. You can have your trailer built with the bare necessities, or all the options under the sun. There is no need to settle for a pre-packaged trailer, or one which you can’t customize.

To us, ultralight is the wave of the future. Why build a camper that is a bunker on wheels, that has to be made ever stronger just to hold itself together on rough trails? Why not conserve fuel, wear on the tow rig, and effort? Our rugged ultralight campers fill all needs, offering a warm, comfortable camp space in a small, ultralight package.

Being ultralight means your camper can be towed with most passenger cars, mini-vans, and SUV’s - even small ones! The compact size makes it easy to maneuver in the woods, on highways and on bumpy roads.

Our main feature is configurability - you have the option to use the trailer in whatever way suits your needs. We do not overload the interior with cabinetry and features that limit you, but rather, every feature included in our campers enhances your ability to use the trailer in the outdoors. Our designs are simple, rugged, and reliable. Our options are useful and attractively priced.

Simplicity is a virtue. To generate the ultimate outdoor experience, choose between our Base Camp (4x8) and our Expedition (5x8) model. Then select the configuration you need: highway or off road (highway rides 4” lower, and is equipped with street tires and rims). After that, select the options you desire from our option list. Need something not listed, or have a special use in mind? Just ask!
